My Background & How I Work

My interest in Real Estate started early in life, my family moved on average every 4 years throughout the country. By the time I was 12, my parents decided the best way to keep me busy with this interest was to ask their Realtor if she needed any yard work or odd job done. That lead me to a variety of tasks, leaf blowing, mowing and raking, weeding, cleaning garages and basements, painting... whatever was needed to get the house ready for the market.

By the time I was 16 I was working for Merrill Lynch Realty in the local office as the weekend guy. In those days keys were kept in the listing agent’s office and buyer’s agents had to pickup the key and then bring it back after showing. I answered phones, passed out the key, helped with marketing ideas and, in general, had a great time. No internet, no cell phones and no email. It was a face to face, personal experience and I was hooked. I studied and got my RE license at the end of my senior year in high school then promptly went out of state to University and my work in the Real Estate industry stalled for 16 years. I graduated, moved and worked on 3 continents, got married and we had our first child. Then it was time to go back to my formative years interest and look for the job of my dreams.

In 2002 I joined the Windermere Lloyd Tower Office and have happily been working with our great office team and staff.  The wandering stopped, and I have made Portland my home. My wife, Eva and our kids, Mila and Liam, live in NE Portland and love this beautiful city and the Pacific Northwest.

As a longtime Portland homeowner and resident, I know first hand the ins and outs of both selling and purchasing a home as well as the close-in neighborhoods Portland is famous for. This is my home and market, too. The real estate market is ever in flux and I pride myself on keeping up with out local micro markets. I keep open communication with all involved and understand this is a big, sometimes frightening process. I believe communication and information are key to help my clients feel as comfortable and confident whether buying or selling.
